Choose what the agent can do

Permissions let you decide when ZeroSphere may act for you. Start with Ask while you learn how a task behaves. Change a setting only when it fits the work you want to do.

App Use

Open Settings, then App Use.

Virtual screens controls whether the agent may create a separate screen. Control your desktop covers the real main display. Open apps covers launching an installed app.

Each choice has a simple meaning.

Off blocks the action.

Ask checks with you first.

Approve or Always run lets the action happen without another prompt.

Choose specific apps

Add an app to Allowed apps when you want it to open without another prompt.

Add an app to Blocked apps when you never want ZeroSphere to open it.

Use the app picker when possible so ZeroSphere can identify the intended app correctly.

Commands and files

Open Settings, then Environment to choose how commands run. You can also decide how the agent handles files outside the current project and files excluded by ignore rules.

Environment also lets you keep commands that may run freely and commands that are always blocked.

Connected tools

MCP tools ask first by default. You can allow automatic use globally or for one server, turn a server off, or block a particular tool.

When a task needs your decision, ZeroSphere explains the action. You can approve it once, deny it, or save an allow or block choice for later.
