Add extra tools

MCP lets you connect extra tools to ZeroSphere. A connected server can give the agent access to a service, a project utility, or a workflow that is not built in.

Add a server

Open Settings, then MCP. Use the settings file option to open the server list.

The server list uses the standard MCP format. After you save a change, use Refresh when you want to check the connection again.

Choose how tools run

MCP tools ask before running by default.

You can allow automatic use for all connected tools or for one server. You can turn a server off or block a specific tool everywhere.

The server definitions and permission choices are managed separately, so changing a connection does not silently change its access rules.

Start small

Connect one server, leave it set to ask first, and try a simple read only task. Once you know how it behaves, decide whether a broader permission makes sense.
